Beau von Brilon is a beautiful 8 month old long haired German Shepherd. Beau  is a loving boy who seems to get along with any person or dog, according to volunteers while he was at the Pasadena Humane Society. He is very gentle to all and still gets a little puppy excited when he meets new people. He loves spending time with people but is also fine hanging out by himself. Beau is very curious on walks and is comfortable in public spaces once he gets used to his surroundings. He was a pleasure to escort to a busy event with music with lots of people and dogs, and was very popular - everyone came to meet him. His body posture around other dogs was calm and relaxed. He is very affectionate and loves to lean in to you, sit close and give kisses. He is also comfortable in the car and is a quiet passanger during drives. Beau is truly a lovely dog and is great for cuddles on the couch. Despite being so wonderful, he wasn’t going to be adopted from the shelter because he needed hip surgery. Thanks to Westside, he has had the surgery he needed. He will heal in no time and will have no long term limitations.  Don’t miss out on such a special dog! No cats please.
